The Third Annual Tucker Swain Memorial Tournament will be held at Monon Trail Elementary School this weekend from May 1-3. The Westfield community is invited to attend games beginning Friday at 5:45 and continuing all weekend long.
40 teams will be competing this year, but the focus remains on the legacy of Tucker Swain, a truly dynamic and special young man. Tucker loved life and lived it accordingly. He loved playing sports – including baseball, basketball, football and any others that involved playing with his friends. Tucker was a leader for his teammates that insisted that everyone be treated the right way. When he wasn’t playing ball, Tucker loved reading, building and creating with his family and friends.
Those in attendance this weekend can purchase tournament hats at the complex. WYSI will also announce the scholarship winners at 12 PM on Sunday.
