Instructional Basketball (Ages 4-6)
WYSI Instructional Basketball (ages 4-6) is a recreational, coed league for Pre-K and Kindergarten athletes. The league focuses on introducing basic basketball fundamentals in a fun, non-competitive setting.
Practices and games are held on Saturdays at Westfield elementary schools, with roughly 30 minutes used for practice and the other 30 minutes designated for a short game against another team. The eight-week program runs from February through March.

If you want to volunteer or coach instructional basketball, you will need to complete a background check.
2026 Registration Information
Registration Fee: $150
Registration Opens: Oct. 5
Early Bird Deadline: Oct. 18
Registration Deadline : Dec. 18
*Must be 4 by 1/1/2027**(Register on or before the Early Bird deadline and receive a $20 discount (the discount will be applied at the end of the registration process)

(Note: Practices and games are played on Saturdays with approximately half the time spent practicing followed by game time with another team).
