WYSI Field Hockey is a co-ed program for boys and girls that teaches the fundamentals of field hockey in a fun, encouraging environment. No experience is required to participate.
WYSI offers three age-based leagues (3rd-5th Grade, 6th-8th Grade, and 9th-12th Grade). Volunteer coaches are encouraged to register. Please review the information below for more details.
Field Hockey is a co-ed sport. Boys and girls are eligible to participate.
Cost: $150
Registration Closes: July 31
Divisions: 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, 9th-12th
Important Dates to Remember:
First Practices: Week of August 3
Last Practices: Last week of September
Practice Days: Monday-Thursday (evenings)
Practice Length: 90 minutes (one practice per week)
Games: WYSI will host games on Saturdays between a time frame of 10 AM – 12 PM. Home game dates are scheduled for Aug. 15, Aug. 29, Sept. 19 and Oct. 3 (All other Saturday games hosted by Fishers).
Uniforms: Each player will get a team shirt.
Coaches: Volunteer coaches can click the green register button to help coach an age group. Make sure to sign up to be a head coach or assistant coach.
Background Checks Required: If you want to coach, you must complete a background check. To do this, please register in LeagueApps first; once registered to coach, you’ll automatically receive an email from Ankored to log in and complete your requirements. No separate account creation is needed; simply visit app.ankored.com and use your LeagueApps username and password. Completing the background check is required prior to team practices/games.
