This page provides an overview of Westfield Youth Sports’ co-ed football program, including key registration deadlines, equipment handouts, schedule information, summer camp notes, evaluation dates, and the full fee structure by grade.

The page also includes links to division rules and outlines what equipment is provided, helping families understand the season process from registration through evaluations and team formation.

There will be a mandatory Coaches Meeting at Westfield High School on Tuesday, July 14 from 6:30-8:30 PM. WHS Head Coach Josh Miracle will host the event that is mandatory for all Assistant and Head Coaches 1st - 6th Grade. Flag Football coaches are also invited to come.

Fees

  • Flag (Kindergarten)  $140

  • 1st grade  $250

  • 2nd grade  $250

  • 3rd grade  $250

  • 4th grade  $250

  • 5-6th grade  $250

Registration is based on your athlete's grade. Flag Football is available for Pre-K and K. First Graders will play instructional tackle football. If you have questions, please send us an email.

WYSI offers an Early Bird Discount. If you register for football before July 3 you will save $20 off the registration fee.

Equipment Handouts

Equipment Handouts for 2026 will take place during the first two full weeks of July (7/6, 7/13). Specific Days and Times will be added at a later date. Registration is required prior to equipment handout.

Evaluations and Team Formation

Tackle football evaluations for all grades will take place from July 21-23 at Grand Park. Fields will be determined closer to the dates.

A draft will take place after evaluations in an effort to create fair teams. The draft will be held July 24-25.

Flag football evaluations will be held on August 11 from 6-7 PM.

Evaluation Info

Our evaluation dates are spent collecting player metrics and observing skills so that we can “score” a player. We do this to establish a baseline score when drafting each team for the in-house league, as well as identifying those players that belong on the travel team at the 5/6 level.

Install Dates

Install dates are a collective effort to install Westfield’s base offensive and defensive plays, alignments, and assignments with the entire division participating as one.

Special Notes

      • Evaluations/Install are conducted in full pads.

      • Please make sure that you follow the instructions on fitting the mouthpiece.

      • Please ensure that you always send plenty of water for your player.

      • Please help us keep Grand Park free of trash following practices and games.

      • Please review the WYSI Code of Conduct in the Policies & Procedure

Youth Football Camp

Westfield High School will host a Youth Football Camp in July. The four-day event begins on Monday, July 13 and ends on Thursday July 16. Players will be in attendance from 9 AM to 12 PM. This camp is not hosted by WYSI. All questions should be directed to Coach Miracle and his WHS Staff.
