WYSI Field Hockey introduces a co-ed program for boys and girls that teaches the fundamentals of field hockey in a fun, encouraging environment, no experience required. It outlines three age-based leagues (3rd-5th Grade, 6th-8th Grade, and High School), explaining the focus and competitiveness of each, and includes a brief FAQ covering practice days and times (Wednesdays, 6:45-8:30 pm) and game windows (Saturdays, 10:00am-12:00pm), with locations listed as TBD.
LEAGUE DESCRIPTION
3rd-5th Grade League
This league is designed for beginners and it is usually the first time that the child is introduced to formal field hockey play. They will learn the basic rules of the game, as well as the proper way to pass and hit the ball.
6th-8th Grade League
This league is still ideal for beginners of appropriate age, but there will be others on the team with a little more experience. They will master the rules as well as hone their skills.
High School League
This is the most competitive league but beginners have also been successful in this league, as playing with the more experienced players usually helps their game to come along.

Registration Deadline: August 3 11:59 PM
* Register on or before the Early Bird deadline and receive a $20 discount (the discount will be applied at the end of the registration process)
